The external design

All our garden rooms come with fascias and accompanying trims as well as guttering and fall pipes.

This is all standard for your external design and they’ll match whatever colour you choose for your windows and doors.

All the wood we use for our bespoke garden rooms comes from sustainable sources in Siberia, Scandinavia and North America. It has an FSE certificate and is both economically and environmentally viable.

Here are the types of wood we offer our clients for their external design:

All the windows installed in our garden rooms come in UPVC and you can choose to have black or anthracite grey frames.

The colour of your frames will also be visible inside your garden room.

All doors are also UPVC and the frames can be black or anthracite grey in colour. The frame of the door will be visible internally as well.

If you choose a bi-fold door for your garden room then they’ll come with an aluminium frame.

We also have an option to add a solid cladded door that will match your choice of external cladding.

If you’d like to really enhance the external look of your garden room you can add a canopy and overhang features.

This will provide you and your family with wonderful shade during the summer months, extra shelter and added warmth in the colder months.

Canopies can also be used as an outdoor kitchen, a dining area or even a place to put your hot tub. They’re the ideal addition for anybody looking to add a bit more luxury to their garden room.

Ambient lighting can be added to your pod to enhance comfort and give your garden room an even more stylish look.

Outdoor sockets are also available in double or single to make it easier to enjoy your electronic devices in the comfort of your garden.

It can get terribly cold in the wintertime but by adding some outdoor heating your garden room can be a hotspot for get-togethers even in the colder months.

Frequently Asked Questions

In the vast majority of cases, you are allowed to have a garden building built on your property’s outside space without seeking planning permission. There are only a few exceptions. Please refer to separate planning permission leaflet for complete details.

Most of our garden structures are completely built on site within 5 days. Some of the very large rooms will normally take a few days more. The installation teams work Monday-Friday and will stay locally until the garden building is complete.
Even though the garden building is raised off the ground and has a vented space underneath, to prevent rising damp, weeds will not grow directly underneath the garden structure as there is no daylight. If the garden structure is positioned on a lawn or soil area, it is advised to dig a small channel around the outer walls and filling with gavel or mulch. This will prevent weeds from growing up around the outer edges of the garden building.
All our PVCu and Aluminium doors and windows are supplied with a secure operating mechanism for ease of opening and locking. Each individual door and opening window has a high security galvanized steel reinforced locking system on both the master and slave door comprising a system of hook locks, shoot bolts and deadlocks. Each door is fitted with high security multi-point anti-drill locking systems to provide maximum security. Each opening window has lockable handles. All doors and windows have insurance approved locks.
